Remedial Termite Treatment
A method used to eradicate all termites from a building or structure. A termiticide foam that is toxic to termites is pumped directly into the termite infested areas. This foam spreads throughout the termite workings and effectively exterminates the infestation. The termiticide called Termidor is non-toxic to mammals – thats us humans and our pets.

Trelona Termite Control, Interception and Baiting System
This non-toxic alternative effectively baits termites and eliminates them on an ongoing basis year after year, with a solution that is less toxic to humans than regular table salt. The termites feed on the bait in the Stations, take it back and distribute it through the nest, destroying their own colony!

How can I tell if I have termites?
If you see 'bubbling paint' in a skirting board, window frame or door frame, or if you find soft or spongey timber inside or outside your home, or mould on a gyprock wall, these are telltale signs of termite activity.
How long does it take to clear termites from my building?
Once a full Termite Inspection has been completed and the Termite Technician know exactly the extent of the termite activity in your home, a Remedial Treatment will be carried out to eradicate the infestation. After 14 to 21 days a further inspection is carried out of the active areas to ascertain that the treatment was successful and all termite activity has ceased.
How often should I schedule termite inspections?
The Queensland Government advises at Least Annual Termite Inspections of houses in our state due to the high instance of Termite Activity and related damage.
Do you offer ongoing maintenance plans for termite prevention?
We do offer Termite Management Plans which include Annual Inspections, Termite Management Systems with regular maintenance visits.
Can I get termite prevention tips from your experts?

How long does it take for termite control to work?
After the initial remedial eradication treatment we must wait 14 to 21 days before doing a follow up inspection of the treated area in the home to ascertain that the treatment was successful.
Can I get rid of termites on my own?
It’s very difficult for a homeowner to successfully get rid of a termite infestation in the home. You really need to have a comprehensive termite inspection carried out first by a qualified professional inspector so that all unidentified termite activity can be found and treated.
I think I have termites in my garden shed, how quickly could they infest my house?
Some very aggressive species of termites can move very quickly from one structure to another. You need to have a professional inspect both your shed and house as soon as possible.

Do we need to leave the building during treatments?
The home occupier does not need to leave the building during these treatments. The treatments to eradicate the termite activity is into the infested wall cavities and timber. They are not surface treatments.
Is your process environmentally friendly?
All the chemical treatments we carry out are very friendly to the environment and safe around children and pets, and of course our Termite Baiting Systems are non-chemical Termite Management Systems.
How are pests getting in my home?
Termite gain entry into the home by coming over the slab edge and through the brick veneer external walls. Other insect pest find a way through cracks and crevices.
Are your services safe for kids and pets?

Can you help with rodent infestation?
We can provide a rodent baiting service using plastic tamper proof stations. Children and pets can’t access the bait inside the stations, only rats and mice.
